As the development and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) continue to increase, it is not enough to just work hard but work smart because working hard alone may not lead to big reward.

Working hard could mean doing all possible best to understand the in and out of what you're doing, but when it comes to using what you do to earn reward, you need to apply working smart techniques legitimately so that reward can come bigger than usual when available.

Working smart is a method of work that implements new techniques based on existing ones in order to get work done or achieve a result efficiently in less time and energy use. A video on social media shows how an AI was used in a cooking where all required ingredient were added to a food and stirred together one after the other by a kitchen robot. The video poster tagged it 'Chef's Has Finally Lost Their Jobs' for comedy, and majority of the comments says 'chefs would be out of job'. While many people forgot that the recipe was made by a chef, few people reminded them that the recipe was made by a chef.

The job of the AI in that food preparation is to assist the chef and get the job done using less time and less human energy. The point is, Artificial Intelligence is made to be human assistant which is the initial essence of computer.

Another video on the social medial shows a fisherman who applies working smart technique by using a small fish to catch a bigger fish. He lures the big fish with the small fish as the big fish raises its head and half body out of water to catch the small fish, the fisher drops the small fish and grabs the big fish.

It's not always about working hard, but working smart. Working smart legitimately is about little effort, big rewards, but requires intelligence and problem-solving skills which are amidst the benefits of learning coding, as coding enhances development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Working smart involve the use of available resources and tools to get the best of an outcome with less time and energy. This means, using time and energy efficiently.

Watch the following video from Spyce Restuarant – a robotic-powered restaurant that prepares food using less human energy and time:

In conclusion, working smart returns big reward but requires intelligence. Today, the world continue to get digitalised with the implementation of AI for automation, which helps to perform tasks efficiently in less time with no human energy use, such as streetlight or security light that powers up when it detects movement or entrance door that opens when it senses approaching movement, and all these automations are made functional with coding.
